Basic Income Panel Discussion on Ontario pilot

March 9 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC-5

Description from EventBrite

The Basic Income Panel Discussion will take place at Carleton University on Thursday, March 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 270, Residence Commons.

Join us for a night of thoughtful discussion regarding the implications of providing Basic Income in the province of Ontario. OntarioEDS will be presenting our policy and research report in response to Minister Chris Ballard and Minister Helena Jaczek’s public consultation on how to design and implement the Basic Income Pilot. This event will be a great opportunity for students to learn more about basic income and poverty in the National Capital, as well as meet working professionals in the city.

The event will include an open Q&A with the panelists followed by a networking period. This event is business casual and all students are welcome. For more information about the Basic Income Pilot, please follow this link: https://www.ontario.ca/page/basic-income-pilot-consultation.
