I’m excited to share that I’m now the Founder and President of the Income To Support All Foundation, a new non-profit whose purpose is to accelerate the implementation of unconditional universal basic income by just doing it and by telling the stories of those whose lives have been transformed by it.

FYI, this is still unofficial at the moment (and hence still “off the record”) but I have been told by a state legislator in Hawaii that the task force–called for by a 2017 Hawaii state legislative resolution–to study the feasibility of a UBI on the state level in Hawaii is finally going to be formed, most likely by the end of this year.
I intend to participate in any public meetings of this task force going forward because UBI has been part of my own research and writing for 37 years now, ever since I began my doctoral dissertation research on the past, present, and possible futures of “economic democracy” and local self-reliance in 1986.
