There has never been a better time to introduce a Basic Income in the UK than over the last few months, but the Tories won’t hear of it, IDS came out of his hole to speak against it and unfortunately so did the Leader of the so-called Opposition, Sir Keir Starmer. The Establishment have all the wealth in this country and they are determined to cling on to it.
Exactly the same thing is happening in Spain and all over the world Trev. We are in a moment in time that we need to continue the fight and the struggle for Basic Income around the world and never give up on it. The establishment all over the world is impulsing their tactics with great strength, their food banks through churches and other powerful groups, so they want to keep encouraging the weeping world of we´ll give you a piece of bread and we won´t give you a Basic Income so that you can choose what you buy at the shop. The establishment is empowering a good portion of society just enough people to keep the whole in a trance the same old world the same old thing as if nothing were to change in the next few years. The methods are always the same keep widening the divide between the rich and the poor, keep increasing people on the poverty line, and usually, they will be people that don´t have contacts in society, those people can go to the food bank queue. We need to keep strong in these times and keep demanding a Universal Basic Income for all without excuses because there is more than enough money for everybody to be living with dignity and nobody should be on the streets homeless or unable to pay their bills or obligated to take jobs that aren´t adequate and don´t pay then enough. Most people want to create a more elevated civilization of human beings and it all starts with Basic Income for all.
