Do we need a worldwide Coalition of Basic Income Activist Networks to do what BIEN can’t? BIEN is chartered as an “educational charity.” It can educate people about BI and spread news about BI, but it cannot lead or coordinate activism on BI. There are many national and regional BI activist organizations, but no worldwide organization to help coordinate their activities. Do you need a sister organization of BIEN to do this kind of coordination or is activism best conducted at the national and regional level? As a side remark, it would be best to make the Facebook page accessible to non-Facebook members.
This can easily be done by simply changing a setting.
Facebook gives three options: public, close, and secret. I clicked public. FB says, therefore, anyone can see it. That’s as public as I know how to make it. If you know how to make it more public, please send directions working me through it step-by-step. Thanks.
Not being a Facebook member meant I found out about this situation, but it also means I can’t log in and look for settings on how to fix it… :-)
However, after a Google search it seems to me that like the tips given here may help: https://openformula.uk/how-to-make-your-facebook-company-page-public/
And this page explains a bit more about the Facebook logic behind it all: http://www.orchardmarketingassociates.co.uk/make-facebook-page-visible-non-facebook-users
