UK: Leeds City Council votes to support a Basic Income pilot project in the city

The City Council has passed a resolution asking for a Basic Income pilot project to take place in the city.

    This would be a much needed scheme in some parts of Leeds

    There would be a call for it in Bradford too, it would be better than having to sign on at that dump of a Jobcentre on Manningham Lane.
